We love this chunky yarn for its eco credentials, its tweedy aesthetic and its robust handle (and the great price!). Spun from recycled textiles and recycled PET bottles, the result is a well-rounded, strong and beautiful yarn that makes hard-wearing cabled sweaters – sustainability at its best.
The heart of this yarn is post-consumer textiles that are sorted by colour, shredded and re-spun in a family-owned business in India. Thanks to the careful sorting, no bleaching or dyeing is needed to create the yarn’s rich colours.
Composition: 65% wool, 25% polyester, 10% nylon
