Browsing the website
We do not collect personal information from people who browse our website, only anonymous usage data, which we collect without cookies.
Purchasing
When you purchase something from the website, we only collect the information we need to process and deliver your order. This includes your name, delivery address and email address (so that we can send you your order confirmation). You can optionally subscribe to our mailing list, which is managed on the Brevo platform – you can find the privacy policy here.
Studio Miranda GmbH does not collect or store any payment details (e.g. credit card numbers). These are processed securely by our payment service provider Payrexx AG.
Registering for an account
When you make a purchase, you can optionally set up an account to view your order status and the details of previous orders. When you create an account or log in to an existing account, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we also set several cookies to store your login details and screen display settings. Login cookies remain stored for two days, screen display cookies for one year. If you select “Stay logged in”, your login will remain valid for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies are deleted.
Comments and reviews
When you leave a comment or product review on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent string to help spam detection (this service is provided by a third party, Akismet). You can also choose to have your name and email address stored in cookies so that you do not have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. These cookies will remain stored for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
Your data is stored by Studio Miranda GmbH and only shared with trusted partners when necessary for the processing and management of your orders. These include (among others) Payrexx AG for payment processing and Swiss Post for delivery. Only the data that our partners need to provide their services is shared with them.
How long we store your data
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal data they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data (except their username) at any time. Website administrators can also view and edit this data.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you by contacting us at contact@studiomiranda.ch. This does not include any data we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
