Our public craft meet at the Zäntiplatz was a big success – despite the heatwave, we gathered to knit and crochet together, learn some new skills, get to know each other and (especially fun) bring a yarn graffiti project to life!
Thanks to energetic early contributions as well as work done on the day, we had a good amount of crochet and knit pieces to wrap around one of the big, beautiful trees at the Zäntiplatz. Our masterpiece is still up for now, though it must be removed before too long (in order to avoid any problems with insects and so on). Want to see?
While the tree project was a once-off, we will be returning to the Zäntiplatz for more crafting meets in future. The next dates are 26 September and 16 January. Yes, January! It’s not crazy – we’ll be snug inside a yurt, with a fire. Doesn’t that sound cozy!
And of course everyone is welcome to join us at the shop on the first Saturday of every month, during shop hours. See you then!
